BaxterBot: BaxterBot, our AI-powered student assistant, provides conversational help to students on demand, with knowledge of the specific lesson being taught so that answers are hyper-relevant.

BruceBot: Your AI-powered teaching assistant, simplifies classroom management. It creates customizable lesson plans aligned with standards and offers real-time insights into student performance and accommodations. From communication to feedback, BruceBot helps you stay organized and focused on teaching.

AI-Assisted Lesson Planning: Scholar Education’s AI tools help teachers by drafting initial lesson plans, which can then be customized and refined by educators to better suit their classroom’s needs. Teachers can also generate full assessments using AI, based on the lesson plans.

2. Commitment to Data Security

No AI Training on Educational Data: To protect privacy and ensure security, data collected from AI interactions within our platform (such as those with our BaxterBot) are strictly used for operational purposes only. We do not use this data to train any AI models.

Limitations on Data Usage: Only necessary data from direct interactions with our AI are processed. This ensures that student information remains confidential and is protected from external exploitation

3. AI Supervision and Moderation

Enhanced Moderation Layer: Unlike basic AI applications, Scholar Education incorporates a sophisticated moderation layer that operates on top of the OpenAI platform. This system is designed to oversee and guide AI interactions, ensuring they remain appropriate and constructive.

Recorded Interactions: All interactions between students and our AI systems are meticulously recorded. This allows for transparency and accountability, providing an audit trail of AI usage

Alerts and Controls for Teachers: Teachers receive notifications of any potential issues arising from AI interactions. Additionally, they have the authority to disable AI functionalities for individual students if necessary, ensuring control remains in the hands of educators.

4. Confidentiality and Compliance

Commitment to Privacy: Scholar Education is fully committed to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and security of all data processed through its platform, in compliance with privacy laws like FERPA.

School’s Responsibility: Schools are responsible for obtaining all necessary consents from students and guardians to use the platform, ensuring compliance with relevant legal requirements.

5. Data Ownership and Usage

Aggregated Insights: Scholar Education uses data derived from platform usage for analysis and statistical purposes. All data used is anonymized and aggregated, protecting individual privacy while enhancing service quality.

Data Ownership: Scholar Education retains ownership of this usage data, which excludes any school content or personally identifiable information.

6. School Content

Ownership of Materials: The School retains full ownership of all content uploaded to the platform, including data, files, and multimedia.

Limited Use by Scholar Education: Scholar Education will use school content only to deliver and improve the service, always in line with the agreement and any specific instructions provided by the School.
